Rosa M. Rodríguez is an Engineer and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Jaén in 2008 and 2013, respectively.
She currently is a “Ramón y Cajal” Fellow at the University of Jaen, belongs to the research group Intelligent Systems based on Fuzzy Decision Analysis (TIC 206) and works in the area of decision making and computing with words. She was granted with a scholarship for Research Training associated with an excellence project at the University of Jaén to carry out the PhD. She was awarded with the extraordinary PhD prize in 2017. She was a postdoc at the Technological University of Vienna, (Austria) for one year. She was also a “Juan de la Cierva” Posdoc-Fellow at the University of Granada for four years.
She was awarded with the Best PhD Student Paper at the International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics held in Tianjin (China) in 2013 and received the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems Outstanding Paper Award 2012 (awarded in 2015).
She is Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Fuzzy Systems and the Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems.
She has been classified as Highly Cited Researcher 2019 according to the Essential Science Indicators of the Web of Science.
