Active Aging
Active aging aims to enhance and support the independent living of ageing people. Intelligent systems are key tools to respond to the real needs not only of elderly people but also of caregivers, service providers and public authorities.
Intelligent processing of data from the Internet of Things and smart technologies plays a significant role in active ageing. So, intelligent systems provide support in multiple verticals as help in the performing activities of daily living, security despite cognitive impairment, communication through social networks or support in the mobility of the person.
