This is a Cycle of Conferences that has at its core the DaSCI Institute’s interest in bringing Artificial Intelligence to all audiences, specialised or not, without prejudice and with knowledge as a flag.
Its name refers to Ada Augusta Byron, also called Lady Lovelace, was one of the most interesting characters in the history of computing. She was born in London on 10th December 1815. She was the daughter of the famous romantic poet Lord Byron and the mathematician Annabella Milbanke. She is considered the first woman programmer in history. Her assertion that machines were capable of more than simple calculations inspires and encourages us. When we do research, we never get things right first time, the calculations are certainly not simple, and there is a constant striving for better results.
