Paper: Ordering Artificial Intelligence Based Recommendations to Tackle the SDGs with a Decision-Making Model Based on Surveys
Recent advances in artificial intelligence and other digital technologies have already changed several areas of modern society, and they could be very useful to reach these sustainable goals. In this paper we propose a novel decision making model based on surveys that ranks recommendations on the use of different artificial intelligence and related technologies to achieve the SDGs. According to the surveys, our decision making method is able to determine which of these technologies are worth investing in to lead new research to successfully tackle with sustainability challenges.

Book: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies for the SDGs
This book is an important contribution to ascertaining the analytical capacity of engineering under the umbrella of artificial intelligence and digitalization in the service of the SDGs, and to advancing in overcoming the challenges facing the global economy and society in the 21st century. It is also helpful for understanding the three dimensions of sustainability: 1) the economic dimension (including economic and technological development and life), 2) the social dimension (including social development and equality) and 3) the environmental dimension (including resources and environment).
The book, entitled “Inteligencia Artificial y Tecnologías Digitales para los ODS” (Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies for the SDGs), by Rosana Montes and co-authors, published by Real Academia de Ingeniería, is organized into three parts: an introduction to artificial intelligence and digital technologies, an analysis of their application in achieving the SDGs, and a set of recommendations on actions that may lead to the execution of projects and contribute to the attainment of the associated targets. In this connection, specialist scientific literature was reviewed, including more than a thousand bibliographic references on the 169 targets that are proposed in order to achieve the SDGs.

Paper: A Panoramic View and SWOT Analysis of Artificial Intelligence for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030: Progress and Prospects
There are a relevant number of publications that integrate AI and other digitalt echnologies for tackling the targets of the SDGs. Accordingly, we have conducted a broad literature review of those publications in order to (i) provide a general picture of how AI and digital technologies can contribute to reach the SDGs, and (ii) highlight promising trends and challenges in using AI for attaining the SDGs.
The result is a review composed of 869 publications, whose references are provided as supplementary material for this study in spreadsheet form.

Study: How Artificial Intelligence can enable achieving the SDGs by year 2030
At the DaSCI Institute, we firmly believe that Artificial Intelligence and other disruptive digital technologies must support and accelerate the achievement of each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. To this end, and in collaboration with the company Ferrovial and the Spanish Royal Academy of Engineering (RAI), we have worked in a project that has help us understand how AI and other disruptive digital technologies can help to achieve the objectives of Agenda 2030.
