In this episode we discuss controversial topics, such as the recent publication by leading researchers at the Andalusian Institute of Data Science and Computational Intelligence (DaSCI) of a book on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the UN, and particularly, how they affect SDG 5 Gender Equality.

And we will interview three women in the sector to see how they live the different stages of their career: as a student, as a researcher and as an engineer in a computer company.

  • Claudia Salado is a third year student of the Computer Science degree at the UGR (mention: Software Engineering).
  • Nuria Rodiguez studied the Double Degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics at the UGR and later did a Master’s Degree in Data Science and Computer Engineering at the same institution. Currently, thanks to the funding of a FPU grant, she is studying a PhD on “Federated Learning with applications in Natural Language Processing and Image Processing”.
  • Rosa Venzalá studied computer engineering at the UGR and currently works at UNIT4 as a Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master.
